The house of the dying
There is no mercy here
No tender respite from pain
This house of the dying
Is where we shall remain
Un-living, yet gasping for air
Blue Lips, knotted, tangled hair
A lifetime of sins and torment
Now we will know eternal despair
In the halls the corpses lay
Toothless mouths such are our ways
Silence Deep, dark like the abyss
Flesh broken, succumb to the decay
Words scratched into the walls
Nails torn from hands long since gone
Judgement has come, a price to pay
A reckoning, for all we have done
From days in the sunlight
All joy, once hearts smiling
Useless we are, mute and dumb
Here in the house of the dying
