I remember

I still remember the day

She got up and left

With her flowery sandals

And her stupid floral dress

It never was just singular

But so many that had come before

They too had gone

And I don't want it anymore

You can keep your promises

Your words of a better day

I've run out of believing

In whatever they could say

Sometimes there are no answers

Well, any that I need to know

So pack up your beautiful words

It would be better if you would go

You cannot have the perfect

Since reality will always come apart

And I'm so tired of all the times

I need to stitch up my broken heart
